Ben Gans is a PhD-candidate in Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University. His research focuses on the relations between peace, conflict and development. Furthermore, his research is concerned with inter-organizational information management during contemporary peacebuilding missions.
He also works as a Research Fellow at the Research School on Peace and Conflict, a cooperation between the University of Oslo, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Peace Research Institute Oslo. In that role, he focuses on the potential and challenges of Open and Big Data for Peacebuilding.
Ben Gans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Process Safety and Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam.
