Big Data Alliance cordially invites all academic and industry members to its member meeting on Friday 18 January 2019 on Explainable Artificial Intelligence at Google Amsterdam.

Key topic of the meeting will be: Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). Most of us don’t want AI that can not be trusted and Blackbox algorithms that we don’t understand. Tim Salimans from Google Brain in Amsterdam will tell us more about Google Brain’s research agenda. Catholijn Jonker from TU Delft will talk about some IXA issues and proposed solutions with negotiation support systems. Zeynep Akata from University of Amsterdam will talk about explaining a rationale for classification decisions related to visuals.  Finally, Eunice Chang from Google will talk about a HR Analytics project that is currently developed.
