Evsen Korkmaz is a Data Science Manager at Unilever. She holds a PhD degree in Management Science from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. She is specialized in ‘Bayesian Econometric Modeling’ within a Customer Lifetime Value prediction context. In the broadest sense her main interest lies on the interface of Marketing Modeling and Operations Research; in particular she is interested in predicting customer behavior, generating deeper insights in customer heterogeneity, and optimizing pricing strategies. During her PhD studies, Evsen developed state of the art predictive models; see “Bridging Models and Business: Understanding heterogeneity in hidden drivers of customer purchase behavior.” Prior to joining Unilever, Evsen worked at University of Amsterdam and Johns Hopkins University in USA.
